Scott’s 30+ year career includes executive leadership roles with both public and private banks, and mortgage companies. He joined Cornerstone to lead the organization’s historic bank conversion plan, including a first of its kind Texas merger with Roscoe Bank in 2022. That transaction resulted in Cornerstone becoming the highest capitalized new bank in Texas history. He serves as Cornerstone’s enterprise President and Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the board of directors.
Before joining Cornerstone, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at LegacyTexas Bank and its publicly traded holding company, LegacyTexas Financial Group, Inc., one of the fastest growing banking franchises in the Southwest. During his leadership at LegacyTexas, the bank was recognized with relative performance awards by Fortune, Forbes, S&P Global, and the Dallas Business Journal, and by advisory firms such as Raymond James and KBW. Prior to that, Scott served as the managing member of a law firm in Dallas, where he focused on corporate, securities, regulatory, and transactional matters affecting banks, bank holding companies, and other financial firms. He also served at a publicly traded bank and bank holding company in a variety of progressive leadership roles, including as board member at its nationwide mortgage company.
Scott’s experience includes leadership roles with the American Bankers Association, Texas Bankers Association, Risk Management Association, the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel, and with a wide variety of non-profit and community organizations. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Adam has served as Chief Executive Officer – Mortgage Banking since 2022, and in a variety of progressively increasing roles since 2014, including as Chief Administrative Officer and as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development. He has been a member of Cornerstone’s Executive Committee since 2014, and a member of its Board of Directors since 2021. Prior to his current role, Adam assisted in a variety of new initiatives across information technology, loan production, and secondary marketing divisions, and coordinated strategic decisions relating to legal, compliance, risk, human resources, and administrative matters.
Prior to joining Cornerstone in August 2014, he spent nearly six years as an attorney with Hunton Andrews Kurth (f/k/a Andrews Kurth) in Houston, where he counseled clients on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures, as well as public company reporting, corporate governance, and compliance matters, including assisting as outside Securities and Exchange Commission counsel for the boards of directors of two publicly traded companies.
He served as a member of both the Order of the Barons and the Order of the Coif while attending the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated Cum Laude. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has served as either a board director or as an advisory director to privately-held community banks in Texas.

Paul has built his career at the intersection of finance, accounting, corporate development, strategic growth, and value creation. He is known for his hands-on approach to driving organic growth and acquisitions, using his adeptness and extensive experience to navigate complex financial landscapes. Paul is dedicating his efforts to making a positive difference and steering Cornerstone Capital Bank's expansion initiatives. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees a highly skilled financial team, with an emphasis on strategic planning and capital management for one of the nation's fastest-growing banks.
With over thirty years of experience covering banking and the financial services sector, Paul has a successful history of transforming banks into industry leaders. At Cadence Bank, he worked with a talented team that executed the bank's growth strategy, which resulted in asset growth from $10 billion to $50 billion in just five years, including the transformational acquisition of State Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, and the merger with BancorpSouth. Prior to Cadence, Paul was a senior member of The Endicott Group, managing over $500 million in committed capital in private equity funds focused on commercial banks and thrifts. He also held key roles in investment banking, sell-side research, and financial analytics at FBR Capital Markets, Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, and Morningstar and earned a finance degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

With more than 30 years of experience in regulatory supervision, risk management, and audit, Mary has a uniquely broad range of experience across risk types and bank size. In addition to being a Safety and Soundness and Compliance examiner for the FDIC and FRB, Mary served in a variety of risk management leadership roles at community, large regional, and international banks. Mary is a recipient of the American Bankers Association Distinguished Service Award, recognizing her commitment to give back to the industry in leadership, service, and the development of the next generation of leaders.

In his 40+ year career, David has held several credit and risk leadership roles at banks in Dallas and Fort Worth. He has been active with industry groups, serving in roles such as a past president and director of the Texas Chapter of the Risk Management Association, the North Texas Chapter of the Risk Management Association, and the Tarrant County Bankers Association.
David is passionate about community involvement, having held a variety of leadership positions with the Wesley-Rankin Community Center, the North Texas Chapter of the American Red Cross, a domestic violence shelter, several Little League teams, and his church.

In Greg’s 35+ years in financial services, he has led teams of residential mortgage and commercial lenders and built and deployed business plans, credit policies, and risk rating methodologies. He has held leadership positions in banks and mortgage companies and has built expertise across numerous asset classes, including corporate and middle market, commercial real estate, residential real estate, warehouse lending, senior housing, and energy lending.

In his 30+ year banking career, Brook has built and led front-line teams, and been active in commercial lending, treasury management, institutional banking, alternative assets and investment services, leveraged buyouts, and more. He has held leadership roles within financial institutions varying in size as well as his own entrepreneurial ventures.
Brook is passionate about building reciprocal relationships with clients and demonstrating servant leadership within teams.

In his 25+ year career, Chris has held energy finance origination roles, including leadership of a team which grew a portfolio to $1.5+ billion in transactions. He has also served in a business development role with an alternative investment fund, providing structured capital solutions to upstream oil and gas companies, and as President of CounterPoint Consulting LLC, which he founded in 2019.

Rick is a respected and seasoned financial executive with 30 years of experience in the community banking industry. He joined Roscoe Bank in 2014 to lead efforts in Bastrop, also joining the Board of Directors for that bank. During his leadership, Roscoe’s Bastrop market saw loan growth average 30% annually while maintaining the highest credit quality standards. Rick became part of the Cornerstone team through Roscoe’s historic merger with Cornerstone Home Lending in 2022. He currently serves to oversee banking efforts in Bastrop and Central Texas, and is a member of the bank’s Senior Credit Committee.
Before joining Cornerstone, Rick served as Senior Vice President for Commercial Lending at First-Lockhart National Bank, driving total asset growth of 65% over his tenure. Prior to joining the team in Lockhart, Rick served as VP, Branch Manager, and Relationship Manager with the Citizens National Bank of Texas, doubling the asset size of his branch in his first three years there.
Rick’s experience has always included a variety of leadership roles within the communities in which he has served, including as President of the Lockhart ISD Board of Trustees, President of the Bastrop Education Foundation, Vice President of the Hunters Crossing Local Governance Corporation, and Vice-Chair of the Lockhart Planning & Zoning Commission. Rick is also a 36-year member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials, serving in 2015-16 as Austin Chapter President.
With a strong history of positive leadership, Rick is often a dynamic advocate for change. He has impacted credit policy, brand positioning, and technology utilization in every organization he has served. This would include leading design and implementation of ALLL modeling, online deposit gathering, loan production workflows, electronic document storage platforms, and automated decisioning tools.

Shane offers a wealth of experience gained from over 20 years in banking. He began his career at Roscoe Bank in deposit operations and progressed to managing one of the bank’s largest loan portfolios and loan processing systems. Shane was also instrumental in building a compliance program from the ground up, establishing policies, procedures, and training protocols that have been praised by compliance auditors and FDIC examiners alike.
In 2022, Shane was among the principals who led the transition of Roscoe Bank to Cornerstone Capital Bank while supervising the origination of large commercial loans. His deep understanding of bank operations, proactive drive to innovate services, and servant leadership mindset make him the ideal candidate to accelerate Cornerstone’s growth for years to come.
A dedicated community leader, Shane is the current director of the Roscoe Lions Club and an advisory member of the Nolan County Extension Office. He also serves on the Sweetwater Finance Committee for First United Methodist Church.

She has a broad range of experience, both in-house and as a consultant, at banks of varying sizes and across multiple risk types. Cara has led global, enterprise teams within both the first and second lines of defense, with a primary focus on large-scale risk transformation initiatives. Her strategic insights and hands-on approach have been pivotal in building an impressive track record spanning enterprise risk and compliance program transformation, risk culture enhancement, issue management and regulatory remediation, and governance frameworks.
Cara is passionate about risk management and regulatory compliance and firmly believes that a strategic approach to the discipline can serve as a competitive advantage. She is eager to channel this passion into her role at Cornerstone, where she aims to cultivate a robust risk culture and drive meaningful enhancements across the bank.

Patrick’s 40+ year career includes senior leadership roles with finance companies and public and private banks. He joined Cornerstone to lead the bank’s commercial real estate lending platform.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, he established and led several commercial lending platforms (GE Capital, ViewPoint/Legacy Texas Bank, and Southside Bank), producing more than $7B in commercial real estate loan transactions and managing a $2.5B commercial real estate portfolio at one of the fastest growing banking franchises in the Southwest.
Patrick is an active volunteer serving on several local boards including The Real Estate Council, TREC Foundation, The Community Fund, and the Plano YMCA (past chair).

Marc co-founded Cornerstone Home Lending in 1988 amidst one of the worst downturns in home lending history with one purpose in mind: To make a positive difference in the lives of others. He served as CEO of Cornerstone Home Lending for 34 years before becoming the Chairman of Cornerstone Capital Bank in October 2022 upon Cornerstone’s acquisition of Roscoe Bank. Marc and his experienced leadership teams have successfully navigated the Cornerstone family of companies through many significant industry downturns and expansions. He attributes Cornerstone's continued success and growing legacy to Team Members' passionate commitment to Cornerstone’s written Mission, Vision, & Convictions Statement, the daily guidebook for everything Cornerstone.
Marc grew up in the Houston area and started his career in public accounting after college before joining the mortgage industry as Chief Financial Officer and later Senior Vice President-Retail Loan Production for North American Mortgage Company in 1978, which was acquired by Mutual of New York (MONY) in 1986. During Marc's 10-year tenure there he gained the financial and loan production experience to start Cornerstone in 1988 as a uniquely different kind of mortgage company – one that focused on a servant-leadership approach by adding value to Team Members and clients in order to earn their trust, and closing loans on time, every time.

Molly spent over 40 years in the financial services industry. Her experience ranges from time spent as a bank examiner, a bank executive officer, and a partner at a public accounting firm specializing in regulatory matters.

John has been a part of the banking industry since 1981 when he began his career as a lender with Fort Worth National Bank, later known as Texas American Bank/Fort Worth and Team Bank. In 1990, he returned home to serve as President/CEO of Roscoe Bank and continued in that capacity until Roscoe’s 2022 merger with Cornerstone Home Lending to create Cornerstone Capital Bank.
John has held multiple community and trade group leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board of the Independent Bankers of Texas (IBAT), advisory board member of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), and multiple years as Chairman of the Board of Sweetwater Enterprise for Economic Development, Inc.
John is thrilled to have found an organization in Cornerstone, whose culture and values align with that of Roscoe Bank, and is honored to continue to serve as a strategic leader and board member.

After 40+ years as a full-time Texas banker, Mark retired into a part-time role as a Director for Cornerstone Capital Bank. Mark's roles in banking covered a wide range of positions, including Chief Credit Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Lending Officer. During his formative years in financial services, Mark held leadership positions within Credit Analysis, Lending, Loan Review, and Special Assets.
Mark’s career and passion fostered a desire to both continue learning and begin teaching financial education at church and at home.
