He has held leadership roles within financial institutions varying in size as well as his own entrepreneurial ventures. Brook is passionate about building reciprocal relationships with clients and demonstrating servant leadership within teams.

With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Scott considers himself fortunate to have the most incredible life experiences in banking, mortgage, and financial services. Together with his team, he joined Cornerstone in 2019 to expand its operations in commercial and consumer banking. Scott has served in a variety of leadership capacities with Legacy Texas Financial Group, Guaranty Financial Group, The Almy law firm and is involved with the American Bankers Association, Risk Management Association, Texas Bankers Association, and Southwest Association of Bank Counsel. Scott’s personal mission is to have fun with his fellow team members while building a banking franchise worthy of the Cornerstone culture and mission.

A recognized leader in risk management and bank compliance, Mary has more than three decades of experience in regulatory supervision, risk management, and auditing. Mary began her career as a Safety and Soundness Examiner at the FDIC and later specialized in consumer compliance as a Senior Examiner at the Federal Reserve Banks located in both Philadelphia and Dallas. Mary is known widely for her ability to manage through change and to build and execute effective risk and compliance management systems.
